Privacy Policy

Miomovi (“the app”) is developed by Timo Reith. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Miomovi.

Summary

Miomovi does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to any third party. Everything you record and create stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it. We have no servers, no user accounts, and no analytics or tracking software in the app.

Camera, microphone, and photo library access

Miomovi requests the following permissions, used only for their stated purpose, entirely on-device:

• Camera — to record your video clips.
• Microphone — to record sound for your video clips.
• Photo Library (Add Only) — to save your finished videos to your device. Miomovi cannot read your existing photo library — it can only add new videos to it.
• Apple Music Library — only if you choose to add your own music to a project; used to let you pick a track from your library.

None of this content is uploaded anywhere. Recordings, edited projects, and exported videos remain on your device and in your Photos library, under your control.

In-app purchases

Miomovi offers an optional one-time Pro unlock. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit — we do not receive or store your payment details, and have no access to your Apple ID or billing information.

Music you import

If you import your own music into a project, you are responsible for having the necessary rights to use it — Miomovi does not check, moderate, or transmit imported audio anywhere; it is used only to render your local project.

TestFlight beta testing

If you're testing Miomovi via TestFlight, Apple (not us) collects standard TestFlight diagnostic data (crash logs, if you opt in) under Apple's own privacy policy. If you choose to send us feedback through TestFlight's “Share Beta Feedback” feature, that feedback (and any screenshot you attach) is shared with us to help improve the app.

Children's privacy

Miomovi is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, regardless of age — the app simply doesn't collect data at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if we add a feature that requires network access — we'll update this page and adjust the effective date above.
